How did you get into geocaching?
I have been fascinated with receiving dx (far away) radio stations since I was a child. Later I installed the big 10’ satellite dish TVRO and OA antenna systems in homes and even a hotel or two. Later I became interested in “scanning” the police and public service bands (radio) where I discovered HAM radio, I’m sorry what was the question?

What's the meaning behind the screen name?
When I got into computers my hobbies were BONSAI trees and RADio

Do you cache alone or are you part of a team?
Alone mainly, I do like company if they are into it.

How many caches have you found and how many have you hidden?
I’m sneaking up on 900 finds and have hidden over 70

Have you cached in other states or countries? no

Besides geocaching, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Ham radio, waymarking, boating, biking, exploring

What kind of wildlife have you encountered while geocaching?
Many birds, opossum, gators, snakes, arachnids, armadillo

What advice would you offer new geocachers/hiders?
Have fun with it. Don’t get burned out by trying to do too much too soon. Remember that you only get one “first hide” Think it out..

What do you say when muggles ask what you are doing?
The radiation levels here are very elevated, you need to leave NOW while you still can.

What is your favorite cache container?
I like them all, ammo cans really do the best job.

What is the strangest thing you have ever found in the cache?
I have a high "strange" threshold. So I"m hard to impress.

What was your most memorable caching find/experience?
There's nothing like going to hide a cache and then finding one where you were going to place it. This has happened 3 times!
