How did you get into geocaching?
I am a big reader and somewhere I read about geocaching and it sounded
like fun.
What's the meaning behind the screen name?
Well I grew up fishing in Florida on the west coast mostly for Trout
and Redfish. Also being a Dolphin fan it works 2 ways.
Do you cache alone or are you part of a team? Alone
How many caches have you found and how many have you hidden?
At 900 finds now and have hidden 50 with about 20 still active
Have you cached in other states or countries? No
Besides geocaching, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Reading, gardening and needle point
What kind of wildlife have you encountered while geocaching?
Rattle snakes, Gopher turtles, Wasps, Ants, Wild Pigs and Homeless
camps
What advice would you offer new geocachers/hiders?
Have fun. Don't over think things. Trust your feelings.
What do you say when muggles ask what you are doing?
I say its like a scavenger hunt using the internet. Most people
understand that even the Police!
What is your favorite cache container?
Home made and ammo boxes in the woods.
What is the strangest thing you have ever found in a cache? Ladies
underwear
What was your most memorable caching find/experience?
At 5 different times [Non events] I have run into cachers looking
for the same one as me at the same time. That is always a blast
Urban hides, love em or hate em?
The ones where thought was put into the container or name are good
Are you planning on attending Cacheapalooza 4 in December?
YES
And what would you like to see more of at the event? Easy
caches. LOL
