How did you get into geocaching?
Surfing the internet looking for a GPS for hiking and found the links for geocaching.

What's the meaning behind the screen name?
We wanted to keep it family based so we used the first letter of each name of our family members.

Do you cache alone or are you part of a team?
Mostly alone, I like mountain biking and walking in the woods most of which the wife and kids don’t like.

How many caches have you found and how many have you hidden?
Found 413, hidden 8

Have you cached in other states or countries?
Planning to in Tennessee this summer and Canada around thanksgiving.

Besides geocaching, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with the family, hunting, atv riding.

What kind of wildlife have you encountered while geocaching?
Snakes, hogs, deer, lots of birds, frogs, gators and SPIDERS!!!. No venomous snakes yet, looking forward to that, really!

What advice would you offer new geocachers/hiders?
Go with someone who has done this before. We started this on our own and it was very frustrating until you learn how things work. We’re still new compared to most geocachers, but we’ve learned a lot in a short period of time.

What do you say when muggles ask what you are doing?
I like “Gatorman’s” response “ Looking for poisonous lizards, have you seen any? Actually I just tell them the truth, we’re geocaching and let them know what’s it’s about. Most people are interested.

What is your favorite cache container?
Ammo can What is the strangest thing you have ever found in the cache? A package of adult KY lube. Try explaining that one to your kids when they open the cache container!

What was your most memorable caching find/experience?
Walking and riding the trails of Jonathan Dickinson state park. Great scenery and exercise.

Urban hides, love em or hate em?
I love the woods, I hate watching over my shoulder for muggles. The family are usually the “lookouts”.

Are you planning on attending Cacheapalooza 4 in December?
Most of it anyway.

And what would you like to see more of at the event?
Don’t know, we’ve never been to one, looking forward to it.
